Creating with creatine

If you had told me two months ago that I would be one of those guys who was looking for the most effective creatine supplements he could find, I would have laughed at you and you would have kicked sand in my face. And then you and your friends would join my friends to mock my puny physique.

That was then, and this is a different person you’re looking at now. I still believe the mind is mightier than the muscle, but no one ever said you can’t increase muscle mass without sacrificing intellectual capability either. But look at me, I’m probably embodying the worst of both stereotypes right here! I’m not looking to break any world records for long-distance running; it’s something I do for my health. I like how it’s trimmed me down, but at the same time, I think my arms look quite scrawny in comparison to the rest of my physique.

The truth is, running only improves your appearance so far. I didn’t want to be one of those runners who ripples with muscles from the waist down while barely being able to give a decent account of myself in an arm-wrestling contest. Not that I want to take part in an arm-wrestling contest, but it’d be nice to have a body that is more well-proportioned than the one I have now.

It might sound like quackery to you, but I’m very careful about what I put in to my body. I would never jeopardize my health just to get ripped. It’s true that it doesn’t do anything for my endurance, but its effects on my weight training are astounding! Even the cramps and stomach upsets (all minor side effects) from when I first used the creatine are a distant memory now when I flex my new self in front of the mirror.
